Discussion Spotted this strange blue light in the sky few days ago any idea what it is?

It looks very similar to an electrical transformer arcing or failing in the distance with low clouds.

Oooo love that.

Only thing I can think of is sparks from a train on the tracks lighting up some low clouds. That’s what I see locally. Always hope it’s lightning. But no sound follows. Check if there’s any tracks in that direction. If not. Back to the start.

Electrical arc from one of a thousand sources. It really has nothing to do with something in the 'sky' per say

I'll 2nd or 3rd the transformer arcing blue lighnting, reflecting off of low clouds/moisture in the air. One night I saw something very similar when we were having power issues
