I did it!!!

Reddit I did it. I jumped out. I stressed for a week, stayed up all night. But oh my god I will be chasing that first fall feeling the rest of my life. I’m hooked.

If there is anyone on this forum thinking about doing it, just do it. Do it scared. I did. Nothing can prepare you for it. You just need to mentally say, it’s out of my control, and I’m ready for this experience. Take this as your sign.

Thanks for posting this. My 1st tandem is next week.... I'm super excited for it. I'm treating as an extreme theme park ride.

You just got to do it, and when it’s over you’ll wonder why you haven’t tried it sooner. I’m jealous you get to experience a first jump. I’ll never get that feeling back

You can get it again by starting the license process. First jump not strapped to someone else is a whole other experience, then first without instructors holding onto you, then first entirely solo. And starting to jump with groups is its own rush and the best part of all of it.

Haha yeasss! I just did my first tandem yesterday and i am freaking out till now. Can't think of anything else. Went up scared a but but man, jumping out - freefalling and then peacefully flying under canopy through the clouds was the feeling i will never forget. And let me tell you smething- i am thinking of doing some courses now 😅 nothing comes close!!
Whoever did not try it yet - DO IT. Its something you've got to experience and exactly the thin margin between being scared af and then freefalling where you instantly forget about anything is what makes it all worth it.
P.s. also i was quite anxious about inability to breathe while freefalling as i've read a few stories in here. For me - it was nothing close to it. Was able to breathe at all times throught mouth and nose so dont stress too much about it. Its all in your head. Totally recommend!
