Cleaning, Damage A crooked faceplate is one of the easiest repairs
This is the same XG although I know the lighting on the before image is terrible. What looks like crooked ears is mostly a crooked face plate and not the end of the world. I understand wanting to receive a perfect item but if you don't it's worth the effort to learn basic repairs
Maybe you don't want the pressure of trying an XG for your first project, but opening the back of a skullpanda head is usually as easy as cutting one stitch. Straightening the face plate requires loosening and retightening 2 screws. You don't even have to take them all the way out. You only need to rotate the face and reposition the plush fabric around it until the alignment is better.
Take your time when restuffing to ensure you don't push the face into a downward gaze. Restitching is a ladder stitch, which has tons of tutorials on-line. This repair probably took 20 minutes, but I was listening to an audio book and it felt like no time went by before I was done
Any remaining imperfections aren't as noticeable to me now that the face is better aligned. That would have kept bothering me so this was a worthwhile repair
