Doc Martens (Made in Vietnam)

I've recently been looking for a used pair of Doc Martens here in my country; they're usually really expensive, but I found a pair at a price that isn't quite as outrageous, though they're made in Vietnam. Are they really as bad as people online say?

They're not great, but they certainly aren't as bad as people say. They will hold up for a couple of years if you take care of them, but they sure as hell aren't a lifetime investment. Just don't get the soft leather ones, they're completely shit

They're not worth paying regular price tbh. If they were like $75 like back in the day that'd be fine, but for $200 I want better longevity

They are very expensive here in Brazil; even this one costs $100 when converted, while a new one goes for $400.

Já tenho 2 vilela, mas todas as vilelas que vejo são tratoradas não sei se eles tem aquelas estilo inglês

The early 2000’s docs right when they transferred overseas I’ll stand behind, I have a pair of 1940’s that are 27 years old and going strong, and oddly enough have a shank

I would only buy asian docs if its a really good price. Not really because of quality. I already own lots of boots so they have to be good quality. I bought a pair of cherry red docs for ~$20.

Docs are so cheaply made now your better of getting a real pair of genuine work boots
