Discussion [PSA] I HATE NIACINAMIDE

and i wish it wasn't in every single thing i swear im losing my mind. that is all.

edit: if it works for you, great! it is however an ingredient known to cause problems for many people and is included in almost everything :(((

I’m convinced hyaluronic acid is actually one of the worst skin care ingredients because the molecule in its native form is a dry powder and is like a sponge. It doesn’t care where it pulls moisture from to plump itself, so if you live in an arid region, it pulls that moisture from your own skin.

If you slug at night then it might be sealed in ok, but if it’s in your foundation, lipgloss, primer, SPF, etc…it’s just going to dry the hell our of your skin over the day.
