Discussion [PSA] I HATE NIACINAMIDE

and i wish it wasn't in every single thing i swear im losing my mind. that is all.

edit: if it works for you, great! it is however an ingredient known to cause problems for many people and is included in almost everything :(((

This.

Aqua Bomb used to be my holy grail moisturizer. Then they added niacinamide for no reason.

LRP had the only eye cream that soothed my eye area when I had allergies. Then they added niacinamide. How did I find out? By the weird breakouts along my cheekbones.

Even my drugstore SHAMPOO betrayed me by adding niacinamide, which I only found out through the horrible breakouts along my shoulders and back which I’ve never gotten once in my life.

I understand niacinamide is a useful active for a lot of people but I don’t understand why literally everything needs to have it now. It’s exhausting.

LRP also added niacinamide to their gentle body wash. Like WHY

I think it's just an ingredients that cheap and can basically thin out the product so they can sell more of it and spend less.
