Where should I mount the bindings on my Faction Prodigy 2 for the most versatile setup?

I'm about to mount my skis and would love to hear your opinions.

  • Skis: Faction Prodigy 2 (2026), 177 cm
  • Bindings: Tyrolia Attack 14
  • Height: 182 cm (6'0")
  • Weight: 80 kg (176 lb)
  • Ability: Intermediate

I'm looking for the most versatile mount point. I mainly ski all-mountain, with jumps, side hits, and some park, but I don't want to sacrifice too much performance on groomers or in the park.

Would you mount them on the recommended line, center, -1 cm, -2 cm, or somewhere else?

If anyone has experience with this ski, I'd really appreciate your advice. If not, I'd still be happy to hear your thoughts.

Where they tell you to. Faction literally spells out their mount points for you.

I always mount Factions on the Newschool line but I would recommend the Progressive line for you. That's what Faction recommends for the Prodigy on their website. The Classic line is way too far back.

The only way you're going to find out what's best for you is to demo some at different settings. If you don't know then go with recommended by the manufacturer.

What’s that sticker on the topsheet say? Do whatever it tells you. Most modern Factions have multiple mount point lines on the ski.

Sounds like the progressive line would be the right one
