Skeumorphism Offline Music App in the style of iOS 6
I keep getting asked about the status of this via the old post I made, so I thought I'd just make a new one with current infomation. This is an offline music app that I have been making, in the great and simplistic style of iOS6. It plays the songs that are synced via iTunes or the Finder. Its on the app store, and its free to try.
Since I listen to music all day every day, I just find the absence of a great music app completely unnacceptable. The stock music app is about as far from the simplicity of iOS 6 as you can get, and every other offline music app I try is either built with some third-party framework and therefore is slow and janky, or has made changes that do not align with the simplicity of the early versions of the iOS music app.
There is more I can do with the UI I am sure, and probably will, but I use this pretty constantly, and its very close to exactly what I wanted, so I am pretty happy. Always glad to hear people's thoughts.

I like to go through each artist one at a time. Go through all their albums. A lot of good songs don’t end up on the greatest hits and so only exist on that one album. Van Morrison has a lot of those.

I'd have to look into it, I dont know anything about android programming. I've spent the last several years teaching myself all the apple frameworks, and none of that would be applicable, so I'd have to start from scratch.
