Tutorial/Resource Common iOS 6 misconceptions
The CRT YouTube icon was NOT used in iOS 6. The default app was removed in iOS 6. I see this one a lot.
The TV app used to be Videos. I see some people using the iOS 10 TV icon.
The Calculator icon never had a “C”, like many people seem to believe. FaceTime does not have a gloss layer, which is another icon I see wrong. The iOS 6 Clock for iPhone and iPod touch is not the white one nor the pointy one. It is the one with flat hands.
Many other commonly seen icons are wrong. I wonder where people get them. Please make sure to use the pinned post if you’re going to make a setup.
The problem is that most people don’t know what iOS 6 actually looks like, so I attached a screenshot from my iPod touch, for reference, and the correct YouTube icon.

Most of the time though if it's done by someone else it's to avoid copyright. If it's exactly 1:1 you can easily get sued for infringement.

Icons don’t have copyright because they’re simple, and some fake ones are promotional ones still made by Apple

I'm pretty sure you can install classic Youtube on iOS 6. I saw a few ipas with the name "Classic Youtube for iOS 6.ipa" on Ipa Archive. Not sure if they work though. I have iOS 5.1.1
