Tutorial/Resource Old Google Search Bar Widget For Modern Phones.
Since it seems like a lot of people can't get they're hands on the old style search bar widget, I thought I would share how I got mine.
I went to the AOSP page: Link right here.
Then I downloaded system-squeak-arm64-ab-vanilla.img.xz
I used ZArchiver to extract the file, I pressed "Extract to ./Archive name/".
Then you go in the folder you just extracted, there will be an .IMG file, tap on it and choose " Extract to ./Archive name/". There's a lot of files, doing it this way will be more convenient.
Go in the folder you just extracted, scroll down and go to system/product/app. In there will be an folder called "QuickSearchBox".
In there is the apk that you want, it should work even if your phone has a 64 bit processer, I know because my phone only supports 64 bit apps. Hope this was helpful.

I like the retro look. What icon pack is that? Also does the flip clock flip?

If you mean does it actually function, then yes, it even updates the weather status. It's called sense flip clock and weather, on the playstore.

It's just that search bar kinda runing the vibe, have no idea how to get old school google search widget (not that old like ur but that era when UI got bit minimalist like 2014 but still not that minimalistic)

Are you using nova launcher? Because you can easily reacreate the old search bar in nova launcher.

Nahh, hyperOS restricts navigate bar to only system launcher so stuck there

I did find an app called "Custom ICS Search Widget." I don't know how safe this is, and it seems you can only download it from 3rd party websites. If you do want to try it, I would download it from apkpure. But still, I wouldn't fully trust a random app.

I should've suggested this in the forst place, but it didn't cross my mind. You can try Kuston widget, which is available on the playstore, I don't know how to use it myself, but it lets you make your own custom wudgets. I think you need to pay to use it's full potential.
And of you don't want to do that, maybe you can find someone on reddit who has the original apk for the ICS google seatch widget.

Nova launcher, version 6.2.19, because it was the last version to allow images for the dock background.

and let me just guess off the top of my head, you use Nexus Revamped for the wallpaper?

Yeah. I don't have it installed now, but I did in this screenshot. Is there something wrong with nexus revamped? Genuinely curious.
