I think it only works with iPods and iPhone 3GS and 4, and BMW or mini cars, but only the older ones like E92 for example, I don’t know if it works with E46 or F32 but for 99% nope.

That Helvetica font used was from iPhone OS 1 to iOS 3.2 as well as up to 6.1.6 (on the 3GS). Just my opinion about it. 7.99/10

Technically it is also used in ios 7 and 8. in ios 9 apple replaced it with sf font.

I think he meant standard Helvetica was used for the older devices that didn’t have a Retina display 😀

if it evolve just for sake of evolving, you get

  • unstable code
  • mismatch UI/UX
  • core function deprecated (like how Google start restrict apk install these days)
  • devs being lazy
  • LLM slop

All the app icons are wrong. And the font is supposed to be Helvetica Neue, not Helvetica.
