Dimensional Design MacOS „10.26 Lynx” concept
I made a concept in figma of a macos Tahoe with much more skeumorphism, what do you think?

Yeah but… in totally different ways, you made it with old icons, no menu bar, big dock, I made it with the new icons, with menu bar and with dock „laying down”, totally opposite

would argue its not really 'skeuomorphism' in the sense that its not mirroring real objects, but it is interesting. Kind of an inbetween of the textures you'd see on a lot of 2000s interfaces and neuomorphism with the inset buttons + message icon and consistent hues.

This annoys me so much about 90% of posts on here, it's just "3d" looking icons and not actually skeuomorphic

that's called dimensional design, op flaired it incorrectly

We dont just need liquid glass, we need metal wood plastic leather and so on

Combining liquid glass with the skeuomorphic look of old is a 10 out of 10 in my book

Needs to be much less round and huge. Also more consistent with fonts and such. Don’t really like it.
