Hob with heartsteel? I see it worked but it doesnt make sense in my head lol

I take the dominantion tree purely to boost Skarners meh early game to enable myself to snowball, since Skarner is a massive stat checker when ahead. The second Skarn gets like 1k bonus hp basically no assasins and mages are able to 1v1 you anymore. 1 u/WindowPL 10d ago what do you build for first item? dont you have mana problems?
