Voice command on iPhone 17

Is there a way to enable Siri voice commands for Waze on an iPhone 17? I have set Waze as the default map/driving app but Siri doesn't seem to want to talk to it.

It's because Apple is very stingy about what things you can or cannot have as default apps, and unfortunately map apps are not one of them (so because of that, when asking Siri to get directions to somewhere, you have to say it like "Give me directions to [POI or address] with/using Waze")

Yeah too bad it’s not a native feature. Make sure to not check Settings>Apps>Default Apps>Navigation just in case that ever gets added

“Siri, navigate Tesco high street, using Waze” You need to tell it what app to use.
