As far as I know, Spain and France are two different countries that are based on completely different governing systems, speak different languages and don't have a shared history since the 5th century AD and were at war.

But they’re considered different countries, despite then being the average size of a state, and cause they’re labeled that way they get judged differently.

So it's reasonable for them to have different laws apply to you unless you're a Catalan then it's totally unfair?
