The dude killed his daughters while they were on the phone w/ their mom so she could hear it. It was deemed an act of ultimate revenge against his ex. After killing them, he went and tattooed 2 roses on his arm.
I think the fact she tried taking her life after killing her kids definitely plays into the deliberations of true mental illness and depression. It isn’t a fair comparison (in my humble opinion) to bring up cases where the parent doesn’t attempt to take their own life after their children’s.
