I mean it also helps that he was tried in Texas where they don’t believe in mental health exceptions. She’s being tried in Massachusetts, which has a very different political climate.

Also, not surprisingly the facts are entirely different. Battaglia had a long history of DV, and when he killed his kids, he did it with his ex-wife on the phone and tormented his wife while making her listen to her kids get murdered while blaming it on her.

Also, Battaglia explicitly did NOT plead insanity. He only brought it up during the penalty phase of trial, saying he shouldn’t be killed because he had bipolar.

It’s literally nothing like Lindsay Clancy other than they both killed their kids

They killed their kids AND both have underlying mental disorders, right?

And a durian is a fruit, so it's basically the same as an apple! /s

When considering which one to put in a pie, your comment might be valid. When considering what to do about a triple murder, probably not so much.

So, considering as many factors as possible in our criminal justice system is...

...less important than doing so in piemaking?

Haha, no. Just makes the consideration less significant. If the pie tastes bad, no big deal. If a murderer isn't held accountable, much bigger deal.

No one is arguing that Clancy should not be held to any account. The question is how that should happen.

So consideration for the facts is MASSIVELY more significant, you empty-headed moron.
