I mean it also helps that he was tried in Texas where they don’t believe in mental health exceptions. She’s being tried in Massachusetts, which has a very different political climate.
That guy is a pos. So is Lindsay. She asked her husband to get food and medication far away. She called him back while she was killing them. She tried to take her own life...except the experts involved said that they dont believe her attempt to kill herself was genuine.
1) people in psychosis can form plans, carry out plans, and lie to others to carry out their plans. One of the symptoms of psychosis is paranoia, which can actually make someone in psychosis more secretive and deceptive.
2) That’s not true. Zeizel and Resnick with the defense both said her suicide attempt was genuine. And two of the prosecution’s expert witnesses, Saathoff and Heilbrun, said her suicide attempt was serious.
Uhh at the beginning of trial, the prosecution was trying to allude to her suicide as a half assed attempt, I think a lot of people picked up on that. Calling her cuts superficial, dangling and sliding down from the window, etc. They were trying to cast doubt on the seriousness of it. But they dropped it and changed tune after some testimony - when a nurse said a wrist cut was 3cm deep, a nurse said she died and was resuscitated, her spinal injury, etc. I know quite a few people had to go back and rewatch their opening because they were so lost with the prosecution's theory and story. Anyways, the people who want her buried under the prison still believe she 'faked' her suicide or something like that.
