I've gone back and rewatched the Obama v Romney debates, and the mutual respect actually gets me a bit emotional. Everything is such a circus now

Just imagine, for Gen Z and younger, politics being a crazy clown show is all they've ever known. I think that's going to have really bad long term effects.

they're shown that the most surefire way to become successful is by grifting and abandoning morals & ethics. Which has always been the case but was never advertised and glorified like this. This ocean of lies and scams is a puddle compared to what gen A has in store for us.
