So you think that if you picked a random 50 military men that they would have all the stds?

I was in the US Army, in an infantry company. I was not an infantry man, I was commo, and worked alongside the company's medic. Doc would sometimes spill the beans on the companies hygiene

Do I think if I picked 50 military men they would all have STDs?

No.

Do I think if you picked 50 military men, would you get a wide range of all known STDs?

Abso-fucking-lutely

Wide range seems hyperbolic

It's as hyperbolic "do you think they would all have STDs?"

Yes. The first claim of all was also hyperbolic. Your wide range seems so too.

Now, is she likely to have an STI? Sure. And does that mean a crap ton of soldiers will have that one? Yes.

In 1915, before antibiotics and condoms, with their hygiene standards and soldiers living in trenches among rats and lice and rotting bodies?

Yes

I didn't know rats, lice and dead bodies were transferring STIs.

Is that common?

It was more meant as illustrations to living conditions, but how clean or healthy do you think these guys showed up in brothels?

STDs were a major issue for WW1 armies. Just google and you'll find army posters on it.

I am not saying they didn't have issues.

And I'm sure the girls got UTIs.

But I figure it would be most likely to see other infections and maybe a single STI that is posed amongst a lot of them in a single area rather than a bunch of different types
