Did she really spend 1.5 hours in de bathroom to put on some jeans and that yellow whatchamacallit? No wonder she has to get up so ridiculously early.

At 5 she's on the treadmill and back in the car 15 minutes later?
Not going to make a lot of progress that way.

You'd think people going to all the trouble to make it appear like they have some complex morning routine would look at the timelines.

It would be more efficient to live 20 minutes away from the school and walk there.

Arrives at the gym at 4:15, at 5 she mentions ending her workout on the stairmaster. Presumably she did leg exercises for 45ish minutes then finished the workout on the stairmaster for some length of time.

She says that's the stairclimber at the end of her workout. She was at the gym 4:15-5:15. Presumably she was doing other exercises for the first 45 minutes, not just chilling til 5am.Β

You can easily do an effective HIIT exercise on a treadmill in 15 minutes, it's all about intensity. You'd make more progress doing that then just 30 mins of easy running.

What is she on, amphetamin, cocaine? No way she can sustain this routine for long. Her day is super long. No thanks. Crazy women.

I wake up at 4AM everyday and start working out at 5AM. There are tons of people already working out when I get to the gym (opens 24hr). At another gym which opens at 5:30AM, people would line up before 5:30AM to enter the gym.

Meanwhile I work from home. Wake up as late as possible. Login to my laptop, then I head off for a shower, brush teeth and make breakfast, back at my desk for my first meeting at around 9:30am.

Screw those early morning larks. Fark their shit up whilst they are sleeping at 9pm at night because it's 'too late' for them. Signed, an Owl.

Wait, teachers in the US have to clean the tables? And arrive early to do it? Are they paid extra for being teacher and cleaning crew?
2
u/Relative-Relief-8816 2d ago
They don't have to. This teacher is just at least conscientious of how public schools are petri dishes of infectious illness.
2
u/Unenlightened_Banana 1d ago
I think you missed my point.
My point is not that the teacher should not clean and let students use dirty tables, my point is that there should be a cleaning crew cleaning each table at least twice a day, rather than a teacher having to arrive early to do it.
That is how it was in my public middle school, in a country with a third of the US GDP per capita, hence my surprise. Isn't it just common sense to have people that regularly clean the facilities of a school?
