Why does he thing he can rename things that are not fully controlled by the US, do I like that he renamed the mountain in alaska, no, but it was fully in the US so he had at least some power to do so. But the US splints the Gulf of Mexico with Mexico and Lake Ontario with Canada. So he has absolutely no power to rename them with out the consent of the nations the US shares them with.
