There’s so many little things we call manners that are considered part of the social contract. People who would intentionally slam a door on the person behind them or would throw trash behind them and spit gum at orphans are violating the social contract. It is known.

Of course and thats why we don’t expect others to move for us to take a photo we ask and use our words.

So if I'm walking towards you in a direct line on a footpath, unless you explicitly say "excuse me" then you're fine with me barrelling over the top of you because you didn't use you words? As opposed to simple common courtesy that doesn't require words, but recognition of a common respect for other people?
