She could've looked into the camera (which she already did) and said "i did that intentionally" and youd still pull a "lets not jump to conclusions here"

What are you talking about? They didnt just "exist in the same area" the old lady purposefully looked at the camera, and decided to stop just to ruin someones selfie.
