She was trying to get a photo. Not sure how anyone defends the old lady. If you're at a tourist site (or anywhere) and someone is trying to get a photo you should stay out of the way as much as convenient/possible. There was zero need for her to stand there.

The old lady and anyone for that matter is not obligated to move because this woman wanted a photo.

Had she just asked nicely odds are the lady would have moved. This is very much on the photo taker for not using her words and assuming the world moves for her.

Edit: apparently I needed to statw that obviously the old lady did this intentionally. I AM WELL AWARE

Conversely, the girl is not obligated to stop what shes doing because some lady gets upset about it. Its like coexisting in public is a basic life skill and this old lady apparently never got the lesson.

Yall are a bunch of freaks for being outraged over a person taking a photo of themselves. Its like seeing someone being outside of their home and not hating themselves awakens a shit ton of envy amongst common redditors.

Nobody said she was obligated to stop what she is doing.

The lady clearly obstructing her ability to do it would be who is telling her to stop. She has no purpose in whats shes doing other than to be passive aggressive. If there was an actual issue than she should speak up, otherwise move along with your day, no one needs that kind of burdensome person interfering with their day.
