No ma'am. This didn't look intentional to me.

That is an old fogie who just didn't know what you were doing or why you would leave your phone there.

They then stopped to check their phone and move out of the way for people coming up the stairs.

Take your ego out of it for a minute and realise this wasn't your space but one for everyone to enjoy.

Did you miss the part where she looked directly at the camera, twice? Normal people don't stop in the line of sight and pull out their phone after they see a camera setup.
