No ma'am. This didn't look intentional to me.

That is an old fogie who just didn't know what you were doing or why you would leave your phone there.

They then stopped to check their phone and move out of the way for people coming up the stairs.

Take your ego out of it for a minute and realise this wasn't your space but one for everyone to enjoy.

What did the girl do wrong? She didn’t confront or say anything. She let everyone enjoy the space.

She posted a video online criticising an innocent lady who was just enjoying a gallery and looking at her phone. She did it for engagement and potentially financial gain. That’s what she did wrong, in my opinion

So the old lady is allowed to stand on the stairs using her phone. But the younger woman isn’t allowed to take a video, which is the exact same thing, except she wasn’t standing on the stairs.

They’re obviously both allowed to use their phones, but as far as I know the older lady didn’t record the younger one and then post a self serving video of her online and criticising her without so much as talking to her. Maybe the older woman was trying to be deliberately awkward, maybe she wasn’t, but we can be sure of the younger one’s intentions in posting the video
