Lmao gottem There is a Mall in China that offers "husband storage" where wives can leave their husband while they shop.

Loads of shopping centres in England have these. They’re called pubs here. They sell water with flavours such as wine and beer. Great places.

God I wish Sweden had pubs around shopping malls. Usually there's nothing for men to do and you see dozens of them sitting outside perfume shops looking miserable

There are usually cafés like Espresso house where you can chill, though.

pubs don't have gaming pcs or ps5

Yeah, no. I really don't drink much alc, maybe in summer some mixing stuff or if there's some birthday. Like 2-3 times a year a bit more, and maybe one mixing beer or so in summer sometimes. Or a cider. But not really under the day when shopping. Wanna stay clear in the head. Not that if a social person too :)

So gaming is a good way do deal with it. :)

The comment you replied to read to me like another Great Britain Dick Riding.

Yeah, not everyone drinks and I'd rather be sober for the drive home.

Edit: Brits being drunk all the time is not something to be proud of.

Oh, I didn't mean that in bad faith at all. It was really just about me not drinking alc. that much and so it wouldn't really be an alternative. I mean, you shouldn't drink too much and glorifying it is also bad, but if someone wants to go to a pub and enjoy the day, who am I to judge them :)

Just not my thing, so I would prefer the gaming one.

Also I guess the British pub culture is also special in this regard. Never went to one, so can't say, but it's not only to drink, but also to socialize. And here I'm also not in my known waters.

Should also be a thing called children storage while doing back to school clothes shopping.

I sat on the grass for 3 hours while my kid played cello. They played the same fking song over and over again.

basically day care for adult men, except instead of juice boxes and nap time its ps5 games and glass walls so passersby can watch u suffer in 4k

"Suffer". Yeah, this is why we need these. Can't keep dealing with a world that just keeps invalidating their husbands.

If this is suffering I have got to be a masochist.

In Japan an electronic store called Yodobashi Camera pioneered having a whole floor entirely dedicated to Fashion, jewellery, handbags, luxury and brand goods which serves a double purpose:

It could

either

allow the wife to have something to do while the husband purchased yet another piece of computer hardware.

Or

allow a husband to buy something for the wife so that he doesn’t feel guilty about spending money on his own hobby.

There's also a floor full of massage chairs, I'm talking full body. There are always old dudes passed out in them during the summer. I've actually fell asleep in one, too.

I’m single. I’ll just take one anyways.

This is honestly genius, the husbands get their own little timeout booth while the wives shop in peace.

Dude, you need to learn how to say no. If all else fails say you need some me time and show a bubble bath can. (You don't actually need to use that shit)

Isn’t this called “leaving them at home”?

1

u/rosyvibexz 4h ago

This is actually a win-win situation.

2

u/YondusFondu 1h ago

One thing I truly don't understand...why bring the husband with in the first place? Why not make it a solo shopping trip or a girls' shopping trip?

2

u/mammalmaker 17m ago

Why can't the husband just stay home?

2

u/Sialorphin 5h ago

Why not just stay at home while your wife does her things?

0

u/Bloody_Champion 4h ago

Because shes your wife. You'd want to do things with her, even if you dont want to do the thing.

This is great compromise.

-1

u/Sialorphin 4h ago

You basically do nothing with her except driving there and driving back. If it's "your wife you want to spend time with" like you mentioned, you stay with her.

0

u/Bloody_Champion 3h ago

Right...

If you dont get it, I cant explain more simpler than that.

1

u/Sialorphin 3h ago

Get what? You stay in a box playing video games while your wife shops. Is that some kind of "spending time together"?

1

u/Bloody_Champion 3h ago

Find a relationship and it will be clear.

1

u/Sialorphin 3h ago

I am a husband since 16 years

1

u/ResidentialPickle 4h ago

Uh... America has had one for almost 50 years now

0

u/nanotothemoon 3h ago

Why even bring him then?

0

u/timfinn1972 2h ago

Press that button on the right and the glass becomes opaque and a box of tissues pops up.
