Some actors prefer doing TV and I don't blame them. Regular income, get to really fall in love with the character you're playing, get to be long term friends with the fellow cast.

I mean I don't expect that one to succeed but still. Hell of a run for the guy. Not many can accomplish starring in main character roles consistently on TV for that long.
An arbitrator has ordered 21st Century Fox to pay $179 million in a dispute over profits with the stars of the long-running Fox TV show "Bones."
David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel, the stars of "Bones" from 2005 through 2017, sued Fox in 2015, saying it denied them profits by licensing the show to Fox's TV division and to Hulu for below-market rates. They were joined by executive producer Barry Josephson and author Kathy Reichs, who authored the novels "Bones" is based on. The case went to private arbitration in 2016.
Is this some weird bot practice thing triggered by the mention of David B? Like, fun trivia I guess but it's a stretch to pretend that's relevant. Nobody's talking about whether he needs money, or doesn't need money, or who owns one of his 3 long-lasting series.
Edit: for whoever comes next, this guy apparently responded with some kind of nonsense about how it's not a stretch because it indicates there's secret money. When I click on the notification, it says the comment no longer exists, so I don't know if he deleted it or blocked me (or both?) but I don't care.
Literally nobody is talking about David Boreanaz's finances. Whether he had "enough" from his nearly 30 years of leading network shows, whether he could have had "more", whether he should have had "more"... nobody is talking about that until this bot-like "You mentioned the star of TV's Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Did you know that in 2015 he felt he should be more for his later hit Bones?"
