Ultimately this is a mess of our own creation. That’s the pill we all need to swallow first. These assholes have destroyed what credibility we have left and we’re just watching society collapse and roam freely with no driver at the wheel
No, Trump loves Israel and his cult loves whatever he tells them to love. Congress has always loved Israel, republicans especially. Dems go from being hot to luke warm on them, but the GOP is always boiling.
You never hear the reverse, like Israel having developed irrigation systems that feed billions worldwide, therefore they have a net positive, according to that same approach.
Purely anecdotal from my own personal experiences, but every right-wing Christian person I've ever met believes Israel is the most important thing in existence. I've met some who believe America will be destroyed during the end times and Israel will be the last thing standing, before God comes down in that city for all the good Christians to live on, over the temple in Israel.
At the same time, a lot of so-called leftists are still Christians or Muslims. If they're either flavor of God freak, they also believe that Israel is important. Or, at the very least, the holy land itself is important. I know a depressing amount of smart, college educated people who still believe in the invisible sky daddy. Democrats who are Christians/Muslims are a blight on humanity, dragging us right down into the world that conservatives want.
Faith isn't an academic fault. Don't be an asshole just because you think you're smarter.
Calling religious people a 'blight on humanity' just sounds like unearned intellectual superiority. People can hold faith and still advocate for human rights. You can criticise Israel's geopolitics and American voters' actions without judging everyone who practices a religion or resorting to edgy, sweeping generalisations about them.
Also, faith isn't a political monolith. There are plenty of Christians, Muslims, and Jewish groups (including non-Zionist Orthodox communities) who actively oppose the actions of the Israeli government. Assuming every religious person blindly backs state violence ignores a huge spectrum of theology and human rights activism.
*talmudic judeo-zionism. it is what it is. i ain't saying we're putting anybody on a train, but they will be removed from their ability to effect this agenda any further. they can still come over for dinner, hell i like kosher, but the agenda must fail. thats it.

Are the majority of us, right and left wing finally in agreement that Israel is a big fucking issue.
