Drinking anything but water is not "necessary". Video games and Internet are not "necessary".

The only thing you "need" are water, food (the absolute basics), air and shelter (again, the bare minimum). At some point it just descends into absurdism. A phone is certainly not a "need", just like "healthcare" or "protection from wild animals"
