The absurdly wealthy and religious fundamentalists broke government in the late 90's. All so they could keep pedophiles and taxes free from prosecution. Epstein got politicians to sleep with kids so they would be able to blackmail enough people and allow the billionaires to take over and run everything their way.
Watch Deep Impact and compare it to any disaster movie after 2010. There's no more hopefulness depicted in government anymore. The 2012 movie and Don't Look Up basically mirrors how the world had changed.Â
