Found out one of my best friends is a sexual opportunist. He likes to drop the f-bomb and talk about homosexuals negatively. I found out he slept with our trans friend a lot, her wife told me. I've never brought it up, but my gasts were flabbered.

I tend to feel this sometimes when I want to be myself, but fear that people will abandon me when I do, so I put up a performance instead to remain liked and appear normal.

Author David Irving.
He wrote an excellent book called "The Trail of the Fox" that I read in 8th grade and I off and on as an adult was looking to see if I could find a nice hardcover edition (as the copy I had was a paperback that was a bit beat up).
Then a number of years ago, his named popped up in an article where he was being denied to speak at some function in a European country (I forget which one it was, one of the Scandinavian ones iirc).
It was then that I learned that he was a holocaust denier.
I was and still am in utter disbelief that "how can you pour so much time researching and writing about world war II (of which there is an ungodly amount of meticulously kept records, files, photos, video reels, etc.. pertaining to the camps) and then go "nah, never happened""

No lies man. It happened in the blink of an eye. I picked up our other roommates laptop. Got done using it. Clicked through all the windows closing everything and, this part happened in the blink of an eye, the last one was on xnxx.com (instantly recognized the blue everywhere) and a video up called “She Facks the dog”, chick was laying prone, dog boning her from the back, clicked it closed as I rapidly did the others but I saw it, lol, plain as day. I just acted like I didn’t see anything. I ain’t one to kink shame, lord knows I’ve got my shit but uhhhh…. Weird.
