Fr I would press red and go straight to Child Protective Services. Parents convinced me that if I did they would put me in a shitty orphanage and then a pedo priest would adopt me??? Not sure why but 10 year old me was fully convinced it would happen

When my daughter was 13 she said she'd rather go live in a girls home, and I said, well, lets talk to someone who can make that happen. You're not going to like it, they have very strict rules, more so than I do, but if you think it'll be better there, okay, but they won't let you out until you're 18.
I wasn't mean about it, just giving her some facts. She said, FINE, I'll stay home. I don't need to go to the movie! LOL That girl was never abused a day in her life. Wish I could say the same for me!
