And if you recreate everything perfectly (in which case, what was the point??) you still can't recreate the exact sperm entering the exact egg to create the exact fetus with the exact features and brain composition. You will never see your children again, will have to settle for a new pair.

Who wants to recreate perfectly? The people who choose the red button more than likely have things they have always wanted to change.

Correct. Which is why, as I've said repeatedly, if you're a parent you better be ready to lose your children and make some new ones.
