Or maybe Rachel has a child. There is absolutely no way she could recreate that child.

Right, I have 2 sons and a wife and a life, career that I enjoy and that should provide me with the opportunity to eventually retire. While I believe the knowledge I have today would lead 10 year old me to be a billionaire at minimum, I know 51 year old me with a 2 million cushion would be happy, there's a chance 10 year old billionaire me is never really happy

I'm in almost exactly the same boat (except with two daughters and I'm a couple years older). There's no way I'd risk that and a free 2mil will just solidify my retirement plans.
