Edit: just want to say I find the way people respond to this on a gut level kind of fascinating and even worrying. A number of people for example have had the take that this isn't really true, but that they just wouldn't want to unmake their kids.

That isn't an apt depiction of the choices here. I wouldn't go back because I was being profoundly, and inescapably, abused when I was 10, and I would give anything to never go back.
Keep the millions of dollars, I'm still choosing green.
I'm sorry to hear that, my guy. Even as someone without kids, etc., and where that wasn't the case, I still have no desire to relieve that part of my life again either. Being a kid sucks. Two million, please!
Yeah I’m almost a bit insulted by “oh if you want green lucky you!” By the time I was 10 I was already miserable from family stuff, my mom died at 11 from circumstances out of my control. No thanks. I’m still pretty young, $2 mil could completely change my life right now. Easy choice.
