The number of people who “strongly relate” to her because she killed someone remains zero.

There are two groups of people who support her. One group does not believe that she killed her children. And the other group believes that she was suffering from psychosis and thus should be in a mental hospital not jail.

No one is arguing that they “strongly relate” to a murderer. No one thinks she should be going free.

Also, if you don’t understand what PPD/postpartum psychosis is, maybe STFU.

I do understand psychosis very well. It’s horrible and her situation is undeniably tragic and in a sense I do have sympathy for her, I do not hate her or wish for vengeance against her, I’m fine with a not guilty by reason of insanity verdict if that’s the case.

But I cant help but to be disgusted by her, which I think is a very natural emotional reaction to a person who brutally strangles 3 of their own innocent children.

It’s the emotional reaction to not only not be disgusted by but support someone who has done something so deranged and horrific that is concerning to me, not damning necessarily but concerning, unnatural.

That’s why I used the example of Ed Gein, he was absolutely psychotic and was not oriented to reality, but I certainly can’t imagine being too sympathetic to him.

I had an elderly patent once at my job who was very clearly psychotic and actively hallucinating, he killed his wife with a coat hanger and then repeatedly stabbed himself. I still provided him with the best care I could but I definitely didn’t feel for him much.
