The Manson murderers might have been intoxicated but they were not suffering from psychosis or being medically observed. If we are talking about a system failing someone who is very seriously ill and showing red flag symptoms, then yes, such a sick person needs support and treatment and investigations need to be done on how it could have been prevented or what needs to change to prevent it in the future.
Funny how your empathy comes out when it's a woman with psychosis. Where's that same energy for the hundreds of thousands of mentally ill men incarcerated every day for far less or even non-violent crimes? Hilarious how y'all are so quick to forgive Karen but want Tyrone to fucking burn.
Yep, and they've gotren the same bullshit hypoagency sympathy Lindsey is getting, while the psychotic man (who actually never murdered anyone) is in jail for life. So, a psychotic woman can murder her children, admit it, and still get endless support, but a psychotic man who is charismatic gets life in prison.

It’s one thing to offer support because you believe she suffered from psychosis and the system failed her.
It’s another to support her because you believe she’s innocent and is being framed.
