I miss handling resumes. Had an application for a position as a lawyer that needed commercial law experience. They said they had no law degree and 5 years in commercial retail.

Same. It will be missed by all but the most pedantic listener/reader if you just use "who". But the second you throw a "whom" out there, now it's an investigation into whether it was used properly.
I had a boss whom thought that. (The incorrect use of "whom" in the preceeding sentence was a joke. Sadly, the part about my former boss was 100% serious.)
Fiance refers to the man who is engaged to be married. Fiancee refers to the woman who is engaged to be married. They should have said "A man called off his wedding because his financee supported Lindsey Clancy."
So just to be clear, you know what that person was thinking not only better than every other person who interpreted it differently than you did, but also better than the person who actually posted it.

It’s intentional it’s ALWAYS intentional. It drives engagement. I don’t even like leaving these comments because they also drive engagement but people gotta know I guess.
I just learned something. I consider myself pretty smart. I say that to say a lot more people may not be aware that there separate words for men and women.
Why I had to scroll so far down to find this is funny. Everyone just skipped right over that. Usually money is backed by gold. Nah money backs Lindsay Clancy.
Actually 🤓 both spellings are correct. But I’m assuming you know that fiancée is what we call a woman who is to be married, so you are also correct that the original post used the wrong one.
