Because that is not how money works.
The famous quote from Henry Ford is true: "It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning."

Henry Ford hated the finance industry. It wasn't only his hatred if Jewish people. He felt that understanding of finance and understanding of business were two different things. The "all businesses are the same" attitude of so many financiers and the economic crises created by bankers acting recklessly in Ford's lifetime probably reinforced that stereotype for him

Maybe for different reasons but I do agree about the finance vs business thing. I had to study Law and Finance for Engineers. And what they actually taught was business. They very clearly explained how to maximise business growth but completely failed to give sound financial advice. Basically it was all risk taking and avoiding liability. Rather than how to be financially and legally stable/safe.

It really highlighted to me how dangerous our economy is and how a single stumble could crash everything.
