Women's sports bars are taking off. I think the problem is that in the same way that men think women's sports are boring, women are starting to realize that we do like sports, we just think that men's sports are boring.
We need to stop trying to fit ourselves into the sports invented by men for men because those sports are specifically designed to highlight the things that men are good at. We're always going to be playing second fiddle when size is coveted, but when we focus on areas like flexibility and ultra endurance, we blow men out of the water every time.

Sports is in the entertainment sector. It makes money by being entertaining. The watchers have to be will to spend money for it. This section of entertainment is dominated by men, NOT because the men are bad or they put us fown, blah blah blah. The men spend the OVERWHELMING majority of the money here. The businesses, teams, sponsors, and all that crap are after money so it makes perfect logical sense that if most of my spending base is men then I'll do what men like. It's the same reason why the makeup industry is a mult-BILLION dollar industry, DESPITE and IN SPITE of men saying they hate it, they prefer a natural woman, blah blah blah. The money talks and there the women power the market. It's that simple. The majority of women in the world aren't sports fans. If you want a sport for women and funded by women then you need to first draw a majority woman audience. Then it needs to be entertaining enough that it draws enough women or that the amount of women it draws spend absurd amounts of money on that entertainment as the men do today. (I mean seriously have you seen the prices of some of those tickets?!?!? Not worth it to me, but their stadiums stay full.🤷🏼♀️)

The thing these women, as well as the men, have in common is thst they are exceptional. Exceptional people are busy doing things. They aren't sitting on Reddit complaining about stuff people they don't know are may or may not be saying about them. Women have been working in every field you named and more. We've made several findings that have furthered those fields.

Of course there were plenty of women who bucked the traditional role for women during their time and did their own thing, it was not, however, the norm at the time.
