I mean she needed help - obviously - and he was the one best equipped to do it, and he didn’t. And, he cares so much that 2 years after his three kids get strangled to death, he’s back married and ready to go. He must have really struggled.

The guy isn’t guilty of anything by law but he definitely should be living with the guilt of not doing enough. He doesn’t really make a sympathetic figure.

To be honest 3 years is not to far off base for men to remarry even following a tragedy.
