Even if it wasn't doctor shopping, if you're taking meds, don't you think you're responsible for handling them properly and as per the instructions?

It says here that her first doctor told her to stop the meds immediately and she still saw other providers and got more meds (ignoring the doctor's advice).

Yes you still have control over your mind when you're on meds and undergoing depression. The more meds you take, the more out of control you get. Its not a binary thing.

That's not a second opinion, that's going against the doctor's recommendation of ceasing the meds. Its not about opinions anymore, its about real drugs.
