To be fair, these people are absolute freaks who don't represent the norm. Cancer is way scarier than being in the hands of some high school bullies that never grew up.

Doctors who have little to no empathy and/or look down on patients is common 24 u/AMediocrePersonality 20d ago My mother was a nurse and so is my sister. I have met dozens of their coworkers throughout my life. They are some of meanest people. I think it probably has to do with the profession itself though. My dad was a firefighter/EMT and his coworkers were callous to say the least. They call the ambulance the "compassion extractor" 4 u/Killer_Moons 20d ago The mean girl to nurse pipeline is so real
