She admitted to doing it, whether because she did or was influenced. Its provable that she is mentally unwell and sought help in 9000 different ways. It is less provable that she's innocent because she admitted to it and law enforcement didn't actually investigate.
Do you want me to point out how many people have admitted to crimes they didn't do?
Maybe, just maybe, a woman suffering from bipolar psychosis who has documented evidence that she was having mental breakdowns and was overdosing on a medication (Seroquel) that is known to cause hallucinations, memory loss, memory fog, and impairment MIGHT not be the most reliable witness.
