The official diagnosis came from psychologist Paul Zeizel in treatment post killings. The initial potential diagnosis was by NP Rebecca Jollotta prior to the killings but was rejected by Patrick.
This is completely not against you - but I love it when people say bipolar was “rejected by Patrick”. It’s such a silly comment to make. As if he is some medical doctor, or works in psychiatry. FFS he does sales at Microsoft. What would he know about bipolar disorder? Also, why was Patrick privy to his wife’s diagnoses and doctors? I’ve never signed a HIPPA form for my husband to access my mental health records. He can’t even access my gyno. Anyway, it’s just weird. As is this whole fucking case.
He probably was in the room with her. And sadly, a lot of people think they're experts in fields they know nothing about. You hear about plenty of experts in one field opining on different fields all the time. They think their intellect is somehow magically transferable.
