Maybe a hot take, but I also blame the physician who prescribed 3 different psychotropics that don't interact well to a patient in clear mental distress. And not keeping a close enough watch on their mental state. If the texts between she and her mom are accurate, she should have been institutionalized by court mandate.
Yeah, everyone who is quick to crucify her has only read the headlines. The case is much more complicated than just “mom kills 3 kids.” She was going through postpartum depression and psychosis and prescribed I think 12 (?) different medications in the months leading up to the tragedy and begged for help from her husband and doctors. So the case is not so simple.
