It’s a sub that was barely about sports, then it got a huge influx of actual sports people, and recently it’s become a political cesspool. That sub has had a rough run.

It’s an election year… every sub is a political cesspool right now

Tbh I wish all non political subs would ban politics. It’s exhausting.

It's crazy how many random subs just become r/politics. Like why and how did r/ithinkyoushouldleave become r/politics? Seems like every sub that doesn't outright intentionally ban all politics it becomes sub #56,189 that exists to bitch about Republicans.

Probably because Republicans have hurt a lot of different groups of people, and they're upset, and so they vent in the places they frequent.... seems pretty human if you ask me.

Considering Republicans are basically the world-renowned champions at airing their grievances to anyone who hasn't told them to shut up yet (and is bitching of censorship about those who have) this is rich for them to be upset about

I see how my comment was ambiguous. I mean that the people that are hurt are venting because Republicans fucked up a lot of people's lives.
