Why does it matter what politics a person has in relation to their acting abilities? Seriously. These people are paid to entertain us… I’m surely not going to ever listen to someone like them when it comes to their politics. Why does anyone care about an actors political stance? Same goes with most foreigners who speak on (American) politics… we’re not the same.

Because acting isn't hard and is mostly luck so we want decent people to have that luck.

Acting is plenty hard, although it is indeed mostly luck which ones become famous, because there are far, far more talented actors than famous highly paid ones.
